Cecum 근처에 생긴 cystic lesion으로 일견 appendiceal mucocele로 오인하기 쉬우나, 영상에서 정상 appendix가 확인되고 있어 bowel origin의 다른 cystic lesion에 대한 감별이 필요하였던 case이다. 최종 진단은 duplication cyst이며, epidemoid cyst등을 추가로 감별 해 볼 수 있겠다.

This was a case of a cystic lesion near the cecum, which could easily be mistaken for an appendiceal mucocele at first glance. However, imaging revealed a normal appendix, necessitating differential diagnosis of other cystic lesions of bowel origin. The final diagnosis was a duplication cyst. Epidermoid cyst also can be considered in the differential.
