primary benign tumor of the spleen
•Pathology:
endothelium-lined vascular channels filled with blood
•MRI
–Hypointense to spleen on T1WI
–Hyperintense to spleen on T2WI
–Early nodular centripetal E & uniform enhancement at
delayed imaging
*This case is an exophytic-growing mass from the spleen. The clue for determining organ of origin is to detect vessels traversing through the spleen to the mass on arterial phase. |
