Comments | •MCN –Previously known as hepatobiliary cystadenoma/cystadenoca. –Very rare in GB: first report (Simmons et al., in1989) –Pathology •Lining epithelium: mucin-rich columnar cells + ovarian stroma •¡¾ atypical tumor cells –Gross pathology & radiologic appearances •Multilocular cystic mass within the GB wall •May similar to MCN in the liver, bile duct, and pancreas •May mimic appearance of adenomyomatosis –DDx: Adenomyomatosis (linear arrangement) MCN (more large & multilocular appearance) |
